I'm in hong kong on one of the computers in our hotel's lobby so I got to make this quick... not really cause there's no one waiting and the other computer it empty atm.

I'm going back to mainland China tomorrow afternoon :\

I'm going to try make a list because that obviously makes me slightly more organised. :D  Can't upload photos onto facebook or here yet cause that'll just sync my ipod's music and videos off and i'll be pissed. Yes, i know you can change the settings for manual sync but i cannot be bothered.

• had the window seat again!! but only one seat this time. And it was a relatively small seat cause it was just one middle aisle. Food wasn't great either, apart from the yoghurt omg nommm.
• airport was pretty cool, I like the indoor trains for transport.
• so glad lots of people speak english... or broken english at least (:
• first taxi driver from hong kong station (which we took a super fast train to) was so awesome. he had a pimped taxi with those dolls and all these flowers. an upside down tissue box strapped to the ceiling of the car :D  i have some photos (2) and I'll up later.
• staying in l'hotel. four stars. It's the one in Causeway Bay.
• Food is reallly nice!! (except for the sushi place in mong kok lol)
• so I got 5 shoes LOLOL. Custom pink/ laces for the converses (:
• eat more.
• oh i got a really nice case for my itouch. It has wings now and a happy face and these arms... yah.
• i just came back from this really awesome restaurant with shanghainese dishes but i had sichuan hand made noodles. Sichuan is arguably one of the places on earth with the spiciest food. so yeah, my tongue sort of got owned and it was really numb for a while. BUT IT TASTED NICE so i kept eating (:
• I think i'm going to go out soon but we're waiting for a friend/relative to arrive.
• Stuff is so cheap here (: Except for the small shop pastries etc. wtf. But everything else is cheapp cheap nom.

a few days in China so far and it just does not get more boring. My cousin sent me this software to proxy my internet so now I can access facebook and blog, etc. However, the internet here is horrible :(

I have a few things I can remember off the top of my head right now.


The 10 hour (i think) plane flight to china was okay. Considering that I got a double seater to myself next to the window right beside the wing. BUT it was China eastern... I didn't even get those private tv/computer things. but that's okay cause I had my ipod with me... which ran out of battery in the last hour to my great disappointment >:( i was also going to use our new ipad but we hadn't sync'd it with iTunes yet and therefore it wouldn't work. But right now I'm playing lots of stuff on it... and playing lots and lots of tap tap on my touch. Pretty much having no life. But i'm determined to make a change tomorrow and read an unfinished book I brought to australia and was meant to finish like half a year ago.


Oh yeah and my phone somehow works. It connects to some china-unicom service (google it if you want, i cbb) which is pretty much pretty awesome for me. It just means I'm now using international calls/texts to any of you. Which reminds me, congratulations to the stupid people who replied to my text and used up extra cash :PP -clap clap-


The food here is great. you can't compare australia to this.

I'm going to hong kong at the start of next week too. And i'm going to buy lots and lots and lots of shoes and jeans and other stuff. Which reminds to say, I haven't seen any guys wearing skinny jeans in shanghai. what the. in sydney it's like every 3rd or 2nd guy but here.. okay nvm i won't go any further into detail and I can't be bothered holding backspace either to edit and delete; so i'll just keep typing on.

ooh there is this awesome snow white cat which lives somewhere around the bottom of my apartment. It sits and stays around the bottom of the stairs in the morning and at around midday/early afternoon. what's so cool is that it's not scared of people. You can walk right up to it and pat it or whatever and it doesnt give a shit. It also sometimes walks up to you and does whatever it's trying to do... [dont thinking wrong please]. It undid my shoelace the other day, just fyi.

i really really want to come back to Australia soon. Not this week, or the next... early January. Probably won't be able to because my mum wants to meet one of her friends who is coming to China on the 6th of jan from australia... and i don't think plane schedules are flexible either.
