Happy Birthday Alicia :)
So I haven't blogged in a while, neither am I that motivated to... it's weird because I don't bother starting, but once I start to blog, I write considerably more than I expected. Anyway, Happy 14th Birthday, Alicia :) My favourite daughter, of course. Today's outing was awesome, and omg the food was REALLY nice. The only thing that partially ruined it was Steph & Bella so eager to use the karaoke machine T_T The BANANAS IN PYJAMAS episode was really cool too, so funny when everyone's just like: "Ahhh.... NO SHIIIIIIT." So what've I been up to recently? Hmm... apart from Alicia's party, not much. I've had volleyball training though, and have been listening to LOTS of music during my various procrastination sessions [practically the whole day]. Lots of new bands :) For those who actually don't know what genres of music I now like, it would be:
Listening to all these bands I just found out:
They're mainly punk rock and alternative bands, and they're freaking awesome! I also found this small indie (apart from one song ._.) discovered on YouTube, but they're pretty famous. They're called Boyce Avenue. They only have 4 songs of their own, but they have SO many covers of popular songs, whether the popular songs be RnB or Rock or Pop. They change it mainly to acoustic covers and so if I want to listen to that song without having to listen to the gay RnB and shit, I listen to this band's cover :) Volleyball training was... ok, I guess. MUCH better than the one in the term 1 holidays which was pointless. I had one session on Tuesday and one on Thursday, both of them arguably productive. Tuesday we had this coach who made us do quite a lot of fitness, luckily Michael and I won this competition so we sat on one which went for like 20 minutes straight. There was this spiking exercise which was equally as tiring and our wrists/palms hurt like shit after it but it was actually fun, unlike fitness. Thursday we had the awesome black guy with blue eyes. Pretty fun exercises, forearms were freaking red after it, especially my left one D: Split into 4 teams of 5, and Tristan and Andrew were in the overpowered team T_T We nearly beat them though, they were 18 - 16. Cheers :) kang |
