the asianness!!!!!!!
Hmm, looks like it's going to rain today. In fact, there was a pretty cool lightning storm a few days ago. There was about a lightning each 5 seconds, literally, and I didn't notice the thunder. Probably didn't even catch up. D: Was talking to Waynne about it, but some other people couldn't see it! WTF. OK I have to talk about the asian-ness of my parents. As I said, yesterday my family held an asian dinner party. So my parents' friends came over and stuff, and I was turned into a slave for 6 hours doing things. I managed to use the computer sometimes when I wasn't needed for anything, which is good. However, my parents' friends also brought their children. And I HATE it when they're like: 'Go play with David' And they say it like I'm willing. WTF IM NOT. And then this just simply equates to long hours of awkwardness. After the part I tell them to try not say that, but I'm willing to bet they'll forget or not even care. Ok, that's not as asian as it gets. What's really asian is that my parents' friends give me some presents, normally chocolate or some confectionary. This has happened many times but I'll just use this occasion as an example. Parents' friend:"Here you go, I got this for you." Me: "Oh, thank you. You didn't have to. *smiles*" And then when the guests leave, I'm like:"Kay, I wanna taste some of the chocolate I got. ;D" Parents:"Uhh. NO. We are going to use that present to give to our other friends' children. So don't eat it, otherwise we have to spend money to buy one." Me:"But.. but... I thought they gave it me..." Parents:"If we give it to them, we save money." Me:"-_________- Fine." I don't really care if I have chocolate or not. Still, ssoooooo asian. Video of the day: This is the actual REAL band (Bless The Fall) doing a spoof of their own song. They do this often. They have the original audio track, but they get the guys in the video to switch. So like, guitarist is fake drumming, singer is guitarist, etc. Yea. You should watch the original video first to compare. It's in the ipod on the right. ^^ Song of the day: I like the songs this guy chooses. ^^ Btw the artist is Fantasy Project. |
